Leadership & Policies

The Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association’s Board of Trustees is the Association’s governing body. It is responsible for guiding the organization, within the parameters set forth in the TPCBA’s Bylaws.

The Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association is led by the President, President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, Immediate Past President, five elected Trustees, President and liaison of the New & Young Lawyers Section, a Family Law Section liaison, a Pierce County Minority Bar Association liaison, a Washington Women Lawyers liaison, and a QLaw Association liaison.

The board is also comprised of non-voting members, including, but not limited to, the judicial liaisons from the Superior Court, District Court and Tacoma Municipal Court, a Criminal Law Section liaison, a Collaborative Law liaison, a Law School liaison, a Tacomaprobono liaison and the Governor representing the 6th Congressional District to the WSBA.
